I want to pass on what I have experienced at races and on the TET routes – with a carefully maintained rally bike and plenty of useful advice.
I have been riding off-road, on the street and on track for 12 years. I caught the petrol bug as a kid, cheering for my dad's friend at enduro races. Later I raced myself, and rode the TET routes with my friends in Hungary and abroad.
I would love to share these experiences with as many fellow riders as possible – that is why I started renting out dirt bikes.
Terepmotor Bérlés is a small, personal business in Erdőkertes, between Budapest and Gödöllő. You do not get one bike out of a big fleet – you get carefully maintained bikes that I ride regularly myself: the KOVE 450 Rally, made for tours and the TET, and the race-ready Honda CRF450R motocross bike.
I chose the KOVE 450 Rally because it brings a genuine rally-bike build in an A2-licence friendly package. Light, confident off-road and comfortable on long trips – exactly the bike you want to rent for an adventure.
If you are new to off-road riding, I am happy to suggest beginner-friendly routes in Pest County, the Gödöllő Hills or the Cserhát. For experienced riders I can help plan the Hungarian and neighbouring-country sections of the TET.
Renting is simple: one phone call to agree the time, pick up the bike in Erdőkertes, a short walk-around and off you go. The KOVE comes with compulsory insurance, the Hungarian motorway vignette and a phone mount; the Honda has a clear engine-hour based rate.
We are a short ride from Budapest, Veresegyház and Gödöllő – a great base for a weekend on the trails or a multi-day trip abroad. Longer adventures get a special custom rate.
Off-road riding is a community: the same dust, mud and joy connect every rider. Try it once and I promise you will be back for another lap.
